Dig on these videos (while you can) of the 3 Zeppelin tributes from the Kennedy Center Honors. Not at all surprised to see Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl kick Taylor Hawkins off the kit. What was surprising was Robert Plant's reaction during Stairway.
I know Jack White isn't technically Classic Rock, but I've been digging on not only the song, but the whole new album, Blunderbuss, since I first heard it. Here's a performance of I'm Shakin' from Conan last night.Couple of interesting things here. All girl back-up band, the Peacocks. And the only guitar Jack actually plays is the solo.
Led Zeppelin were in Washington, DC receiving the Kennedy Center Honors. They decided to drop in to a fellow honoree's show and visit with Dave Letterman. Check out the video here. As usually, John Paul Jones didn't say much, but what he did was gold.
